 Our E-Donation system makes online fundraising a reality. Our E-Donation system was developed specifically to allow donors the ability to participate in a truly secure contribution system. Our system captures contributions in a format that complies with Federal Election Commission regulations.
A donate link is included in your site. That link takes the donor into a secure environment where the donation is made. The donor types his information onto a form that asks for data required by the Federal Election Commission or your State as well as some additional information not now required (email address, phone number). The donor then selects the credit card they wish to use (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and enters the appropriate information. The donor can not make a contribution more than the law allows. The donor is asked to double check his information and to certify that he is a United States citizen, that the donation is personal and this donation will not put him in excess of allowable limits. If the donor is satisfied then he clicks on the "donate now" button. The donation now goes out through the Internet to Cybercash where the numerics of the address, zip code, card number and expiration date are checked to make sure they all match perfectly with the credit card billing information. If there is not a "perfect match" then the donation will not be processed. If the card is reported stolen or there is not enough credit on the card then the donation will not be processed. Only when everything checks out perfectly does the donation go forward. The donor is given an authorization code that goes on our records as well. The credit card number is not retained by E-Donation or your organization. The donation is then processed in a normal fashion through the banking system and arrives in the campaign account from one to four days later, but, the donation is captured and held at the moment the credit is authorized in cyberspace. We provide you with a user name and password for the campaign staff to check on daily results and to print out donor information. We will download the donor information from time to time on a disk in a format that is compatible with most databases. In short, E-Donation is your complete online fundraising solution!
